Brionne & William – 12 June 2010

Those movies where the love story puts you in a gut-wrenching, tear-jerking, full-out bawl-fest… yea… they don’t have anything on Brionne and William.
These two are so sweet and when I see them hold, encourage and kiss each other, it’s like a movie.

Brionne’s mother has Huntington’s Disease. And when I first met with them and Brionne’s father, they shared with me Eileen’s story and Brionne told me she was at risk for developing it as well.
As Brionne and William shared their story of how they met and came to love each other, William said something that he may not remember he said, but I’ll never ever forget it…

“I’ll love her as long as I can have her.”

Brionne and her father are strong individuals and I don’t think there could be a better match for Brionne than William.

It was such a joy and honor to get to know these two and their families.

If you would like to give a gift to these two, please donate to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America in honor of Eileen Schmidt, Brionne’s mother.

One of my favorite pictures to date…

I’m pretty sure this is “Party in the USA”…
